Our Essentials List

Every season we make an"essentials list" which includes our favorites from this upcoming month's fashions. The first picture is a simple striped tee from St. James. This is from the men's section and normally I never would have bought it, but I did and I love the way it looks with a navy pencil skirt, bright red belt, and nude heels. The second picture is of Dolce and Gabbana' s Light Blue fragrance. I wear it almost everyday because it has such a light feel to it and I always get compliments when wearing it. Diamond studs are the third pick. They complete an outfit and go with everything; even if you are working out! So they are perfect for on-the-go outfits. Next is Louis Vuittons' Speedy; I carry this bag (almost) everyday! It is just the right size so it fits everything but it is not a pain when carrying it around town. A great gift for your next birthday! (wink-wink) The last picture is from kieljamespatrick.com. The rope detailing is so cute and I love the mixed in colorful threads in between. This bracelet if great for layering if you have several other bracelets for it to go with.

Oversized Bows

Remember dressing up as a kid and wearing bows bigger than your head? Well you might want to start looking for them because the trend is coming back. As soon as I saw this Dolce and Gabbana gown I knew I had to incorporate this to my daily lifestyle. The great thing about this is that you can wear the bows in almost any way. For instance you can wear them on your shoes, dress, headband, belt, etc. and the look changes every time. You can make it large or small but just remember to have fun living in your childhood every time you wear it!
Until next time,

Scarves Galore

Scarf: a necktie or cravat with hanging ends; used to accessorise and accentuate an outfit. Scarves are a way to enhance your oufit without doing much at all! In these pictures I bought the two outside scarves from Macy's on sale for 4 dollars. The middle scarf I bought at Target for around 7 dollars. Unbelievably great deals! It took some hunting around for just the right scarves for spring and at the same time be at a good price but it was worth the while. The pictures also show some ways to wear the scarves. Hope it was worth your while because it certainly was mine!

Caribbean Tourists

When: mid-March
What: (On the right)
shirt- Target
shorts- Old navy
belt- vintage
shoes- thanks to sam edleman
(On the left)
shirt- Roxy
shorts- Gap
shoes- Rainbows
Where: relaxing in the Caribbean for spring break.
Why: This is our first fashion blog so we decided to start off in the Caribbean. We thought it would be best to share some ideas on how to dress super cute without going super broke but saving here and there for those splurges you just have to have. Like these Sam Edleman shoes for instance. The outfit is less than 50 dollars other than the shoes but they make the outfit. Thanks Sam Edleman; I do not know what I would do without you.
Until next time,
Emily Kate(:
